Description
Once upon a time, far to the north, a little mammoth appeared from nowhere. The little mammoth was all alone, and he was looking for his mother. He came across a polar bear and asked him if he had seen his mother. The little mammoth told the bear that he was sleeping, and then he woke up - and Mom was gone. But the teddy bear couldn't help him.

The teddy bear takes the little mammoth to Grandpa the Walrus, who knows everything. The old man, looking at the little mammoth, recalls that once upon a time, similar animals lived here, but they were gone. Grandpa tells him that animals very similar to the mammoth cub live far away beyond the warm seas - they also have a long nose, big ears, and a tail. He offers to send the little mammoth there on an ice floe.

And so the brave little mammoth, in order to find his mother, sets off on an ice floe across the blue sea to a green land. Once there, the little mammoth meets a monkey who leads him to Auntie Hippo. Auntie brings the elephant girl to the mammoth.

The elephantine sees that the little mammoth looks like her, but is greatly surprised that he is so shaggy. The joyful mammoth rushes to her. And so they stay together. And the little mammoth kept up with the elephant and held her by the tail, so that he wouldn't lose his mother again.
